I first read the title as 'Tree Maker,' and now I can't help but ponder what sort of tool maker this fellow is, and just what his tools are being used to create. I absolutely adore the diagram that comes through the background paint and how the bird frames the image. He's got such a charming sort of posture with those wisps of feathers coming off his neck. Great piece, Seth!

Wonderful.
Looks a lot like the crow who has adopted me here in Seattle. He (she?) ambushes me from behind -- sometimes coming so close that he knocks my hat off-kilter -- then lands in front of me and demands a treat. I always carry a treat because you don't want to get on the bad side of a crow.

i love crows.
they are more friendly and helpful to the world than most humans (who also usually irrationally hate them) are.
crow as a tool maker totally works

I heard a story today where a crow was feeding a kitten.
Thank you!
