What's ancillary media?

Ancillary media is all the stuff I used to support the main medium. Some stuff I used was acrylic mediums(multiple types), dry media(pencil, pastels, etc), And I can't remember what else.

Wow, very beautiful, very haunting and dark. I like it a lot, reminds me of a haunted forest of sorts. Or a foggy swamp where all sorts of things are lurking in the shadows, waiting to eat you. XD *Overactive imagination*

Mysterious and slightly menacing
When I look at it awhile . . . it kind of looks like the tree is shaking its bootie.

This makes me feel like I have stepped into a nightmare forest, and only a bird of light can guide me from the fog.

I am not sure what was on my mind while painting this. Memory kept popping in my head maybe due to the memory of leaves or "life" of the tree have left. But the "life" will return soon in Spring and the tree will become reborn.

This really struck me. The detail of the branches is beautiful, and I love the lonely sort of feel it has...you can almost hear a quiet wind blowing past.
