Thanks!
why are you afraid of moths? most can't even feed-they breed and die.

Well, most fears aren't rational. I'm not sure I know why I am scared. ...
I'm also scared of horses, cows, pigs, chicken, most of the insects types, ... dogs .. I suck haha

I'm afraid of spiders and dogs (course having been bitten by both does that.)

Yeah being attacked by an animal usually leads to having some sort of trauma related to the species. haha
Dogs are scary but so adorable at the same time T_T actually i have a dog of my own and it tried to chew on my face haha

Yeah I saw one flying once-it looked like a bird! And like a bird--it would not land for me!............

B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!!!
I have yet to see one of those at all in my area (30ish mi SSE of Atlanta). We do have semi-rare occurrences of Luna and slightly more rare of the polyphemus. (Some photos in my gallery as well.)
Thanks 4 sharing such a great encounter!

very much alive-they tend to be a laid back sort of moth-I think they have trouble even flying because they are so big. Many females just sit on a branch and hope a male finds them.
