Description I guess watching Buffy on DVD in my whole freetime has its side-effects on me. And I longed to make a classical vampire picture with a little twist. I think it turned out well. The vampire girl was inspired by Spike with a lot of GlamRock touch. I wanted to have a subtle erotic feeling mixed with a bit of more or less hidden sadness.

"Hello Jezz." The Vampire turned to regard the woman that had called her name, and for a moment a smile touched her porcelain features, and then promptly fell away. She had never seen Amanda look so pale, so frighteningly weak.

"Amy?" She questioned, even as her preternatural speed took her across the distance between them. She stopped short of actually making contact with her love, but the desperate need to understand was apparent on her face. Amanda managed a half-hearted smile and gently nodded her head in response to the unasked question.

"It's already set in." Jezz violently shook her head, disbelieving. "There's nothing more to be done, Jezz. You're immune to the atmospheric poisons... I'm not. I've fought it for as long as I could, but we both knew it was only a matter..."

"NO!" Jezz snapped. "I can still turn you, I can keep you with me, Amy." This time the smile was laced with a regretful sadness, and Amanda shook her head as tears started to fall.

"I was gone before I even met you, Jezabel. Doctors tell me I've got a week, on the outside, before nerve function collapses entirely. Before that happens..." She paused and put her hand in Jezz's. "I want you to do something for me."

"Anything." Jezz said, with tears brimming in her own eyes. Amy tilted her head to the side, exposing her vulnerable throat.

"Take it." Though she tried to pull away, Amy's grip was still to strong.

"No." She replied simply, turning her head away from the temptation that lay just beneath the skin.

"Do it, Jezz, for me. Remember what I told you. You are mine, and I am yours..." Finally her tears fell as Jezz turned her best friend around and leaned in towards the pulsing life blood, breathing the final line against her tender neck.

"Until the end of the world." And when her teeth broke the skin, when Amy's life blood flooded into her mouth, the last piece of Jezabel's soul crumbled.

Another stunning bit of inspiration. Thank you for this, it was a blast to write. Hope you enjoy. Oh, and yet again, great work.

no, the only thing that will sparkle later are her eyes...

Thank god for that.

We need some of those old fashioned vampires these days.

I never understand the fascination with sparkle-dazzle-blinkblink vampires though (yeah, call me old...) so there is no chance in hell I would do something like this. I like my vamps nasty and bloodthirsty, honestly I always thought that the worst vegetarian vamp was Louis...now I might change my opinion...

My theory is that "Twilight" speaks to the intelligence of the Average American. That's why it sells so well because it's idiocy for an idiot people.

Ah I see, well since I am german, I can not judge this myself; but to me it has something from the very riddiculus and mushy love movies many women (who claim to be so independ but actually waiting for prince charming to sweep them off their feet) love to watch...this would make an interesting psychology study project...

But really, vampires that sparkle?

They aren't real vampires.

They're fairies with a diet quirk.

Just as I had said when I wrote the script for this comic of Twilight verses Dead Until Dark -> [link]

Yup, I wrote the script for that and drew it.

lol I've been doing that a lot lately myself. (Watching a lot of Buffy in between working) And it's been creeping into my dreams and influencing my work as well. This is really pretty though. I wanted to make sure I told you that. And with a name like Seto Kaiba, you might like some of the work in my gallery.

Have a great day!!

Oh good I was about to go on a hate spree if someone got a DD with purchased 3d characters. OTHERWISE: Good job on the modeling. HOWEVER: I think the specularity maps on the skirt is too high, it makes the skirt look very plastic.

The bodies themselves are well-rendered - I especially like the expression, hair, and skirt of the human girl. However, the background, and even to some extend the foreground, seem cluttered - there's so much going on in such a small space that it distracts from the true focus and expression of the image. I would have kept it down to the arch, the tree, both sets of fauna, the candle, and maybe -one- cross in the background. Again, I like your subjects but not their scene.. I believe the impact may have been greater if you kept the sort of haloed lighting around the figures but darkened up the graveyard a bit. Now, I've only used Poser once or twice, and so I don't know exactly what work you put into the image and what, if anything, was downloaded.. regardless, this picture has both good and bad assets. It could be amazing with a little more work.

Thank you for the comment. I like creating scenes wich are full of stuff even if other might find it too much.
Using lights here that look good is tricky and with my current version of the software even harder. It just lacks some important features for darker scences which is frustrating...
