Okay, so I've never done this before but I figured that I might as well.I did the Ashlane pic because it was a relatively simple one.
For some reason a few sentences didn't show. (Still don't know why, nor do i want to go fix it atm.) Mostly it was saying that if you use this tutorial in any way to please give credit. It's only fair, really.
And that, yes, I do use a mouse. Because I like to.
Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy it.

I was never able to really understand the oekaki boards, so I usually just go onto MSPaint if I'm going to do anything pixelly. : O And I was worried because I like using a mouse for really detailed work, instead of a tablet, because it forces you to go... slower...? I dunno... It's probably because I've used a mouse much more than I have a tablet. : P

On how to draw differant hairstyles properly. Alot of people's hairstyle look like mops.

So what i ment was like drawing four or five differant hairstyles and then showing
people how to properly color and shade the hair. Just you know, 'cause it might help...
(I can't shade hair or at all for that matter) So yeah...

this is helpful for me on a different lvl. Coloring Faces, ive read tons of coloring tut's but for some reason seen it in a pixel drawing reallt seems to have helped me understand it.. thx!!

No, I use all one layer. I'm too lazy for layers XD. I just use remask on the background color and do it that way.

Where it says "Normal" and it shows what color you have... (Under your freehand/line/bezie tool) just click on it until it says mask or remask. :3 (it also says "And" and "Divide" ( i think) I have no clue what they do though)

XD thats because I browse devart at night. :3 I'm really pissed right now though b/c I was notified of a stolen peice of work. The person thought it was mine. (It wasn't) But I recognized the pic from before the Oekaki Board crashed and it was definitely not the artist whose claiming it's theirs. (In fact, they saved it and CG'ed over it.) I already threatened the peep but I want justice damn it! T___T... lols.
