so i was looking for another chamelion today and after 2 swips of the yard i went searchin in the lemon tree and noticed an odd looking branch , adjusted my eyes and saw this HUGE mantis

now everything went wrong with this shoot because first of.. i was sorta affraid of it, i know its stupid but hes frickin large seriously i dont know why
he (or she ) was also pretty FAT wich makes me think its afemale that might be gettin ready to lay her sticky eggs thing

i used my dad's gear for this ^_^ so i could play again with a remote controlled sb800 slave
but nothing worked well for me here and the flashs sucked everything sucked im soo dissapointed with it argh i decided il just let the mantis go and call it a day.

i couldnt get the right pose for a good picture he was too big to stand on anything i tryed
i couldnt set the flash right
and my tripod was beein abich too...

so im posting thease
to get my redicioules portraits out of the main page

the mantis was released back on the lemon tree safe and sound for any concernd readers
