Lorelei: Teeheehee! You're making it seems that he's gay! Don't say that! Aqua probably know more about girls than you do. He has lived a lot longer than you have. He can probably teach you some pointers on how to treat a lady.
Rabby: The day that Aqua teaches me a thing or two about girls is the day that Hell freezes over.

Plus, it's not that I know your life story or anything. *pauses for a minute out of guilt* If anything, I just want to apologize for my actions in the past...*

Aqua tilts his head curiously as he watches her sink under the water.
Adurna's eyes change into slits but then she changes them back to pupils before anyone notices.
Aqua asks Lorelei,
"How come Rabby trusts a master of deception? And he's willing to sleep with someone whose skin can turn poisonous at will?"

Lorelei: *fidgets fingers together* Well, after the thing with Kagutsuchi and things got back to normal, me and Rab went to a pub together to try and get to know each other. One thing lead to another and... *blushes*

"You've lived longer than me or Bothromos. A servant of young Destruction. I find it fascinating that, despite your longevity and position, you find yourself attracted to Rabby like most girls,"

Lorelei: *looks up at Aqua while still under the water* Well, I don't think that I'm better than anybody else. Regardless of longevity or position, I'm still a girl. Besides, Rabby's cute.

"I never said better. I meant different. Never mind,"
He glances over at Adurna as she sits on a chair. "I always find it reassuring that one woman can still feel sane around Rabby. The most affection Adurna will ever give him is when she roasts him alive and chews him to bits, but she knows that would upset Rachel so she won't do it. Plus, she says he wouldn't even make a decent snack."

Lorelei: *giggles while still underwater* I guess that Rabby must had done something REALLY horrible for Adurna to dislike him so.

Lorelei: *slowly emerges* So, when you say "annoy", I guess you mean his advances towards her? *thinks about it* Well, I guess it'll be a bit... irritating.
*Lorelei gets out of the water. She doesn't bother drying off as she goes towards the gigantic gourd that she always carries.*
Lorelei: Well, it was fun talking with you Aqua. You really are a nice guy with a good heart. I hope to see you again, but for now I got to take my leave.

He waves as she leaves.
"It was good talking to you as well. Take care..." He hesitates before asking. "I know this is a very personal question and I have no right to ask you this so you don't have to answer but... What did you sacrifice?"

Lorelei: *she looks back at Aqua with somewhat of a soulful look as the wind from outside blows through her hair* It's procreation. If I ever give birth to a child, I'll die. *faces forward and walks out the door*

Aqua's jaw and his heart dropped at this news. Even Adurna was shocked as she sits up in her seat.
Aqua approaches his partner and sits on the chair next to her. They sit together for a while as they think together as one, never having to say a word to each other or tell the other how they're feeling.
"We'll scry them later," he tells her.
("Them" has to do with a whole other story. It's just that Lorelei made them feel like contacting someone they know.)

Aqua jolts out of his seat when he remembers something. Adurna hands him a mirror and he uses a scrying spell to reveal the point of view of one of the mirrors in Rachel's home.
He's relieved when he sees her there and she can see him in the mirror.
"Hi Rachel, it's me. As you know, Sweets isn't there. She's actually outside the arcology with someone named Swift. That's all, in case you were still worried about her."

Rachel: Swift? Who's that? *feels a bit worried* Thanks, Aqua. I'll have to meet this boy. *leaves to go outside*

"Left out that he's a hawk... Oh well, she already left," he says before he releases the spell and the mirror becomes reflective again.
He and Adurna sit quietly together while watching Ran teach Musume how to scuba dive.
