I was thinking that those white contacts they sell would be awesome for this cosplay, but they are probably kinda expensive.

Haha, yeah, being a starving grad student makes things a bit complicated. You still were pretty dead on either way. I was telling my friend "that Toph cosplayer was a pretty cool dude, I'd hang out with her" haha. She said that sounded about right.
