Previously, on the Goblin Changeling:

"What does the oracle says?"

The High Shaman saw this whole thing really only as a formality. He was leading an army of goblins and orcs by the blessing of the Queen of the Fallen Kingdom of Essther and the Demon King Vortigern. He was doing this to restore to their honour the old and new goblins gods, and end at all the human curse that had plagued the Goblin Den of Hollowrock.

As a High Shaman, he very well knew the importance of doing all the rituals. But he knew as well the importance of striking by surprise the followers of the usurper, the self-proclaimed King Tullok the Stealbeard... and he feared that, the longer the goblin army awaited for signs and auspicious dates to commit to the action, the more probable was that the goblins, orcs and humans he planed to slay on their warm beds had the bad taste of learning of his plan and deciding to resist instead.

The priests frowned at the impatience of the High Shaman. He ignored their glances.

The goblin army, perched in the hills around the oracle, extended their necks, their eyes fixated at the Oracle, the sacrifice and the splashes of blood and guts, meaningless to them but charged of significance.

The oracle finally dropped her arms, and without looking, spoke:

"The Oracle predicts the fall of a False Prophet."

"Perfect" thought the High Shaman, thinking that this was exactly what he wanted.
