On TumblrI finished the sketch of Amaterasu with Infinity Judge from here like I promised:
I'm so glad I was finally given an excuse to draw this because I've been wanting to draw more Okami fanart for a long time, and Infinity Judge is probably my favourite weapon from the game. It's so beautiful.
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Surprisingly the background was more work than Amaterasu herself. I was trying out a lot of stuff and it was a real struggle at times. I also had to add a grey border because the picture wouldn't look too great against deviantART's background colour. I really with it was a darker grey because it's so much better for viewing art.

I think the problem, if there is one, is that deviantART is so huge that it might be hard for people to find artists and also hard for artists to get their works enough exposure. It's probably more about luck than anything I suppose, whether or not you will get well known.

It's such a shame that the game didn't sell well and Clover studios ended up closing. I wanted another release like that so badly. It's not often you get a game with such beautiful aesthetic like that.

I adore this in your style, especially with the blue lighting! That combined with the detail on the various rotating parts of Infinity Judge really makes Ammy look majestic and mythical. Maybe her and Fenrir could team up and kick ass in a crossover, ahaha...
