I learned about a contest hosted by Celsys (developer of Clip Studio Paint) hours before the deadline and the theme was "Skies, Space, & Stars" so I just had to give it a go. I have so. Many. Space related ideas and I was so glad to finally get to paint these aurora whales! I'm on vacation now so I was able to just start working when the inspiration struck me and work intensively until I had a finished piece. It's a rare treat these days.
