Original Artwork is by Boris Vallejo 1981 "Dragon's Birth" found in his book "Fantasy Art Techniques"old oil on canvas 11x14 basically its a study of color and blending. And the wings have a layer of a iridescent acrylic ~ dont even ask I cant believe I did that back then.

oils are so much fun but turp and dry time drive me crazy ~ I even tried Genesis paint that you heat to dry wasnt the same but ... I do like the newer mediums they have out now for acrylic
