PIXIE
Pixies are an outgoing race of Faeries with a love for nature, magic, and travel. Their settlements are usually in secluded glens, and there's often a Faerie District in the major High Elf Cities. Pixies really love magic and enjoy collecting spells and baubles, even if they can't actually use them. Being the most social of the Faeries, Pixies are the most likely encountered by non-fey. Pixies get along famously with High Elves, but those that choose a life of adventure can get along with almost everyone.

APIAN
Apians are an industrious race that build their hive-cities in flowered meadows. Their principle value is structure, because of the order it brings to their society; from a very rigid hierarchy and caste system, to the symmetry of their architecture. The protocols of the hive-city are hard-wired into every citizen and they all play out their roles with an almost machine-like efficiency. Status in Apian society requires psionic ability, and the most powerful are the highest titled: the Queen and her daughters.

FORMIAN
Formians are a very productive race that carve their settlements out the side of hills and mountains. The Queen and all that hold high positions of authority are powerful psychics, and share an empathic hive-mind link to all their subordinates. This passive psionic connection enables workers and soldiers to coordinate tasks with remarkable efficiency. Formians are the only race among the tiniest people that excel at mining and smelting ore, giving them a military and economic advantage. Formians have trade agreements with Faeries and Apians, occasionally have partnerships with Dwarves or Gnomes in their mountain homes.
