A horrible knight from a few years before the Lone Menace who learned how to harness fear, Knightmare is Bayani's right hand and caused the war between Kontrabida and Bata... and force Kontrabida to kill his sister...
Once he used to be the runt of soldiers-in-training, and when he was bullied he didn't want to be stronger or respected. He wanted to be feared. He demanded this of the Court Mage, who gave him these powers, and the more he got used to them the more he entered the world of fear, even becoming patronized by Fearful. He desires nothing but to see people cower before him.

Shows others their fear and can drive them insane... NO EXCEPTIONS AT ALL

Knightmare: Close enough. However, this armor is nothing but a cosmetically changed version of your normal plate armor. I do not see what use it is to you unless you wish for a wardrobe change.

DB: Sort of, Knightmare. but, as a matter of fact, Black and I are the members of the militant criminal front, the Red Dragon Legion, lead by our master, Dire, the Dragon Lord.

Black Metal: (crosses her arms) Our mission is pretty much likeΒ bringing a new set of order and sometimes to spread fear across the world.
Deathbat: No matter how tried, the Vanquishers and their vigilante and the Minervan allies managed to foil almost each of our schemes. So, we fought them many times, and still keep fighting today to keep up with Dire's agenda.
Black Metal:Β (pauses while studying Knightmare) Hmm... I looks like you may be good candidate of joining us a as part-time member, since you have some fear-based skills. Together now and the future, we'll build a new world order, and we the RDL, will rule under the watchful eyes of Dire.Β

Knightmare: Fair enough. (spins his blade in one hand and, in the other, something dark resonates from his palm)

Black Metal: (flaps her small wings and hovers a foot above the ground; begins to rocket towards Knightmare and swipes her claw towards Knightmare)
Deathbat: (meanwhile; charges towards KM and somersaults thru the air over him; from behind, swings one his nunchucks toward KM's head)

Knightmare: (slices off Black Metal's claw with his blade and grabs Deathbat's nunchuks before slicing at Black Metal and hitting Deathbat with his own nunchuks)

Knightmare: One of the scariest things to people...
(as the one on the ground speaks, another Knightmare leaps above Black Metal with his sword drawn)
Knightmare 2: ...is when they make mistakes. (slices Black Metal and knocks her to the ground before slamming into her)
Knightmare: (gets up and waves his fear-imbued hand)

Black Metal: Heh. Not scary enough. (immediately while down; activates her deflector shield in which a dome of red, 'honey-comb' patterned barrier surrounding her has just bounced KM2's incoming blow; pushing him back; she immediately gets up, unsheathes her claws and flies up in the air once again)
Deathbat: (remained unafraid after watching him making that move) Scary enough? Get real. We, the humans, make mistakes, and we learn from them. Simple. (makes a quick hand rolls with his nunchucks) Among the scariest to people is for them to suffer an everlasting, terrible pain! Haven't you witnessed it? (charges to KM, makes a flurry of strikes with his nunchucks into him, denting his helmet and then his armor and then hit some parts of his body, and another blow which knocks him back) Hmm... Seems like those nunchucks aren't strong enough to break your armor... (puts away his nunchucks) I'll take another approach. (dashes forward, makes a sweeping low kick once gain to trip KM, immediately makes a backflip kick, striking him in the chest and sends him up in the air; then drop-kicks him, sending him flying across the alley, crashing him against the wall)

Knightmare: Mind you, I did say 'one' of them. (spews smoke from his mouth before slicing at both Black Metal and Deathbat with precise, quick, and strong strikes)

Deathbat: (winced from his cut wounds) Errrr... (notices and smells that smoke) Hmm... I can taste your smoke. (feels a bit weird though) Uh oh... (starts to feel more scared now) A fear toxin... stolen from the S-scarecrow?! No... I-I cannot be afraid of...(stammers) anything! (runs far away scared) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! RUNAWAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Black Metal: (gets up from her feet; noticing DB escaping) DEATHBAT, you cowardly freak!! Where're you think you're going?! (grumbles; turns to KM in respect) You fought really well, Knightmare. It looks like you going to be among the most elite yet fearful reserve warriors of the Red Dragon Legion, and I'm sure Dire and Beast Machine will be proud of you. 'S a pleasure to meet you. I'll keep you in touch sometime. FAREWELL! (turns her back, flaps her wings to get on flight, and follow's DB's trail)

Knightmare: What a delight it will be to serve under a king again... (sits down and plants his sword in the ground) ...one I can keep my faith in, I hope... (puts his helmet in between his legs and lies down)
