Part 4 of the PM requests, and more than likely the last requests of my summer.REQUESTS ARE CLOSED.
A note to those you didn't get in:
I don't understand some of you people. You BEG and PESTER me about requests for MONTHS, if not YEARS, and when I open them up, like only 10 people actually request stuff.
And then you complain after I close them. It's your own damn fault. I even had this recent session open for 4 DAYS and ON A WEEKEND. I mean, really?

Well, mainly because I haven't recieved any messages saying you'd do it. It's just a minor thing, though. I still liked the artwork.

I may have a few theories as to why that is.
1.) The people who requested from you were probably tired of asking you and just bailed out, giving up.
2.) I could be wrong here and please don't take this the wrong way. They were probably turned away by your attitude. I've been noticing you seem to have a bit of an ill temper for some reason. You opening requests in the way you open them make it seem like it was their fault or like they felt like they are the enemy or something. Because most of the time, people who do open requests, aren't so annoyed about it. And seeing this from you really put them off.
Again, I could be wrong and these are just theories. But regardless! You have great artwork! How can people not request from you?

I really don't think I have an ill temper. I am generally a VERY patient person with people and will always be polite and kind towards others.
But that said, as stated, I have been bombarded with questions, emails, notes, etc. about requests, commissions, and such over many years, and
it took it's toll on me to the point of frustration. The requests people were making were unreasonable, gigantic in scale, and frankly undoable with
me being a student currently.
Not to mention, I have had a HUGE art theft problem in the past, and it revolved around me doing a couple requests for a person.
One person even basically DEMANDED that I uploaded basically sheets of my characters taken apart piece-by-piece,
so that he could make his own identical characters. That really set me off the edge.
The only real reason that I decided to do these recent requests was because a friend asked me to draw one of his characters, so I thought while I
was at it, I would let some other people I've gotten to know on here have a chance to request something as well.
And the reason I wrote those Journals about requests the ways I did was in order to get points across. I wanted to make sure I covered all of my
bases so that past events would not repeat (even though to my dismay, they did again with one person's request).
I don't care if people think I'm being cranky or stingy, I do what I want, when I want when I comes to the art I put up here.
Though I am basically majoring in digital art in college, DeviantArt is a place where I upload "stress-relief" pieces that I've made.
It's not to please any one person specifically, but if people enjoy my art, then that's good enough for me.

Well, I can see where your coming from and its perfectly understandable as to why you would feel this way. And I for one am glad you post your artwork as a way releave yourself of whatever stress comes your way
However, I need to be the voice of reason and just say again, this frustration of yours can put alot of people off. Especially the ones who have never seen your artwork or have even ever been to your profile. I'm not saying you should change who you are. I'm just saying that if the next time you do feel generous, You shouldn't be so grumpy about. It practically makes it look like, at least to some, as if in truth that you really don't want to do it, which basically kills the meaning of being generous.
But again, that's just me being a voice of reason. I'll still support you and love your art regardless
