Medieval story character, Lord Cole’s pet king cheetah

Name: Azira
Gender: Female
Species: King Cheetah
Age: Young Adult
Kingdom: South
House sigil: gold flue de lis on a black background
Note: Understandably you don’t have to get all her body spots markings right. Please pay attention to her face markings, her dark stripe that goes along her back/tail and where the two different yellow/cream colours meet. Markings are symmetric.

I love this character. She and Wingsoar (still working on his design) have become my new favorites. I have a couple of comic ideas either written up or playing in my head with her interacting with others. Whether it is her happily getting a long or tormenting others. Alas most of them contain humans so it will be a while before I ever draw them.
The only thing Cole likes about being made lord/protector of the South is that he could have a pet cheetah. He brought Azira as a cub from a cheetah breeder and loved her from day one. Azira is allowed to roam the castle and the castle grounds freely, sometimes she naps, sometimes she hunts and sometimes she likes to torment the castle staff and visitors by chasing, stalking or pouncing almost on top of them and then running away. Unfortunately for the staff and visitors, due to her being loved and spoilt by Lord Cole, she gets away with her behaviour. Besides even if he did try and reprimand her in typical cat fashion, she wouldn’t listen. Though there is a large pen she can be locked in if she was ever really naughty or aggressive.

Azira has her own bed in Cole’s room, but most times you find her sleeping on his bed like your average house cat.

Cole’s second in command and a few other members of his staff are concerned he will never marry and that there will be no little heirs to the castle because of Azira. The ladies he courts either don’t like or are afraid of her. One example is one of the ladies Cole was courting (don’t have a name for her yet) pretended to like Cole just for his title, power and riches. Azira saw through her pretending affection act and attacks (plays with/ rips) the ladies’ things, stalks her and annoys her. One day the lady tries stealing something from her bedroom Azira jumps up on the bed and hisses at her, blocking her escape. The lady, screams and gives Cole an ultimatum her or Azira. Naturally Cole chooses Azira.

Naturally Cole has an unfair advantage, and wins most of the time when the gang goes hunting due to Azira.

PERSONALITY
Personality: Azira has your typical house cat characteristics, does was she feels like, sleeps most of the time but does have bursts of energy for running and playing. Rarely comes when called, only when there is a certain tone in her master’s voice where she can tell when she will be in trouble if she doesn’t come. She loves affection from her master and only lets one or two select others pat her.

Azira is weary of strangers and is very protective of her master and can tell friend from foe. She will either growl, hiss, attack, annoy or harass a person she identifies as a threat to her master or those close to her master.
Other personality traits: Loyal, cheeky, curious, daring, playful and stubborn
Likes: Food, Pats and cuddles from a select few, hiding behind things and randomly playfully attacking humans
Dislikes: She hates having baths
Fears/phobias: Fire, losing her master

EATING HABITS
Omnivore/Carnivore: Carnivore but may eat some vegetable or fruits if hungry or exploring what strange things the humans eat at their feasts.
Favourite food(s): any type of antelope, or the special plumb duck Phoenix brings Azira as a gift, whenever she visits.
Favourite drink(s): water
Disliked food(s): Green vegetables
Disliked drink(s): She doesn’t like the humans ‘fuzzy’ (alcohol) drink. And pulls a very disgusted face whenever she tries drinks from unattended goblets.
