Alien 3 had some great moments, actually. I think it's indeed better than many people say. But I prefer the director's cut.
And... it seems that almost everything is a better love story than Twilight.

I agree. The novel is pretty good, too.
That is definitely true. I actually read the first Twilight book to see if it was actually that bad...
Never again.

Yes, I like the novel too. I think all the Alien novelizations are pretty good, including AvP.
I read it too, and although it wasn't the worst book I've ever read, I didn't feel compelled to read the rest of the series.

I haven't heard the first Alien audiobook yet, but I have heard and liked those of Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection.
Yeah. It was awful. I still need eye bleach.

I've read them all in one go. Especially those by Alan Dean Foster are really great. He also wrote the novelization of Covenant that was better than the movie.
If I only got a cent for every time the words 'beautiful', 'glorious' or synonyms were used in Bella's tedious inner monologues about Edward, I'd be a rich woman now... that was an awful piece of bad writing.

First of all, binge reading (that isn't bad). Second, I haven't seen Resurrection (only read that one), Prometheus, or Covenant.
If I had a cent for every time I wanted to blow my brains out while reading it, I'd be a quadrillionaire.
And dead.

When I start a book and I like it, I often read it completely in one go, even if it means to get little to no sleep.
I like the novelization of Resurrection because of how the Aliens are portrayed in it.
I think Prometheus was OK-ish, and although I liked Covenant as such, I don't like the whole idea about the creation of the Xenomorph.
I still wonder how I made it through the whole book without getting an aneurysm. Seems I'm really tolerant when it comes to bad writing...

Nice.
I liked it too because it did a great job showing the alien side of Ripley (and her and Call's affection for each other).
They both seem like they'd be okay. I have seen the scene of the trilobite birth many times.
Tolerance of bad writing is one of the things you need to survive in the internet.

Alien 3 was definitely more on the hopeless/depressing horror movie spectrum, at least in my opinion. It isn't my favorite but it isn't really that bad.

I definitely liked it better than the original, but it isn't as good as Aliens.
