"I told you I was insane doc", 285 says in a hurried voice, "I keep seeing crosses, and jesus...i feel like i'm in a haze.....help me"--- From the journal of Doctor D in regards to patient two eight five of #Dark-Arts-Asylum
this took at least two hours if not longer i can't remember my hand hurts and this is my first real try on a solo manipulation. I realize there are some imperfections but this is just a rough i am probably going to come back to it later.
What this is a visualization of my room in #Dark-Arts-Asylum i'm playing on his whole spiritual side. I plan on doing more stories with this personality spanning a long time they will probably be one on one sessions

You asked for critiques; I think this has the potential to be a really powerful image, but needs just a little more work, especially on shadows.

I generally use GIMP rather than PhotoShop myself, for what it's worth.

I'd still recommend a little more work on shadows around the person. He's also slightly lit from his left, so there must be a second window, which should make his right leg cast a shadow too, and the floor by his right shin between his legs should probably be almost as dark as his jeans. It usually works better to overdo shadows than underdo them.
The picture is coming out really well, though! I'm just finnicky

heheh it's a good thing i saved it as a PSD...thing is i i don't know if i could fit another window into the room. Seeing as how he's already in the farthest corner... But i'll work around with it

I don't think the other window needs to be visible, shadows would probably be enough, or maybe some "painted light beams" but I always find those hard to do convincingly, Sir.
