Description
Commission for ! This is the first of four original keys, based off the Celestial Keys from the Fairy Tail series. They are based on the cardinal direction spirits--From Wikipedia: "The Black Tortoise or Black Turtle is one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations. Despite its English name, it is usually depicted as a turtle entwined together with a snake. Further, in East Asia, it is not called after either animal but is instead known as the "Black Warrior" under various local pronunciations. It is known as Xuanwu in Chinese, Hyeonmu in Korean, Genbu in Japanese and Huyen Vu in Vietnamese. It represents the north and the winter season."
This is part three of four. The others are here:

Thank you for understanding. l was really hesitant because in the past I have received messages where people were very rude about "asking" (they really didn't ask, but demanded) and so I get really cautious now. Not to mention I've had some of my work stolen (some ff.net stuff as well as DA) so I imagine you can understand. Well, I feel this is all resolved and stuff so no hard feelings or anything like that.

So I am writing a Fairy Tail fanfic about platinum keys which just happens to be the four symbols of the Chinese constellations. Once I get to each key I will link your artwork to my profile and utilize them to help me describe what the keys look like.

I'm trying to figure out how to say this without offending you. Although I am fine with you using my work (as long as you're not claiming it as yours), next time ask permission outright instead of just declaring that you're going to be using a person's artwork. Many artists would find it offensive and might be reluctant to give you permission because of the way in which this was brought to attention--not to mention it makes it seem like regardless of their say you might still do it.
In case it wasn't clear, yes, I do give you permission to use my work as long as I'm credited for it. If my reaction upset you that wasn't my intention--just an attempt at clarity.

Ooh I understand what you are saying but I would never say "using" I meant linking back to it for the visual representation of something I already mentally visualized myself. Trust me if I had that kind of talent I would attempt at it myself but I am so out of practice with drawing it's not funny. I had lacked sleep when I posted the comment so I was fuzzy and I apologize for it coming out as aggressive. I always give credit where credit is due and that was what I was trying to say. I guess I also thought that the person that linked me the artwork originally might have been the artist and perhaps I misconstrued the original message I received as permission already. So first of all I apologize and secondly thank you. I do feel quite awful about the way I represented myself, so not offended but remorseful and hoping you can truly understand that I didn't intend to cause conflict or offense.
