Similar in size to the Orion Arm Republic's patrol SSTO, the PMT3 Watcher is the USSA's main patrol cratf used in orbit of planetary bodies, as well as moons. It is short range, but can reach up to a single Astronomical Unit (AU) without losing fuel.

It only requires a crew of 4 (there's an automated variant that is more common due to USSA military doctrine).

It has a large dish that searches for enemy spacecraft, from battleships and dreadnoughts to spacefighters and even smaller objects. The PMT3-Watcher is armed with 4 PDCs, two Space Torpedoes and an electronic warfare suite.
