Description
The Robarn Cluster is a group of tightly packed star systems near the Terran States Commonwealth and the League of the Four Monarchies. This cluster is although un-colonised by any major power, is full of pirates. From all over Known Space. from the furthest reaches to the very nations the cluster borders. There are so many pirates, many groups of them act as mini nations.

The Robarm Cluster is infamous for this, as well as the gigantic black hole at the centre known as The Dragon's Maw, called that because a huge spurt of radiation and a ton of gas was ejected from the accretion disc ended up in the shape a dragon from a certain angle but in 2301.

The Robarm Cluster is one of the few places in Known Space where nations don't fight to kill each other, since there are so many pirates from all around, it has become a popular 'hunting ground' for fleets from nations everywhere, even from the League of the Four Monarchies and the Terran States Commonwealth. These two sides love attacking pirates here with large fleets. Although this cluster is a very dangerous region, being inside the centre of a nebula with a large black hole in the centre. Making this pretty hard for fleets to stay together in large formations, forcing them to split up into smaller ones. This made it significantly easier for pirates to hide in the cluster.

This didn't stop sailors from having fun delivering justice though, with the punishment of pirates more satisfying. Warships from the two closest powers: The Terran States Commonwealth and the League of the Four Monarchies despite being enemies, would work together, King Romus III and his flagship flew along with a Terran cruiser flew together (King Romus was hunting pirates to prevent piracy within the League), to kill a prominent pirate and war criminal Vek Desp, former Terran corvette helmsman, then became a League corvette helmsman, then resorted to piracy.

He would be killed in 2904, the hunt for him began in 2903.

The main entrance into the cluster for the Terran States Commonwealth is Port Bugsby, a space station in deep space, and the League's main entrance is the Mals system.
