Pssh, silly categories >_>;First of all, this lineart does not belong to me, nor does the character/colours. They belong to *PearlEden . Just to get that cleared up and out of the way.
I badly need colouring parctice on dogses
So that is what this is.So, to commemorate colouring PearlEden's lineart I decided to colour it as her character, Storvio, as he is a beautiful character and purple is oh-so-fun to colour. Yeah. I also realize that Storvio does not have wings or anything, but I needed the practice. Sorry o_O;
I'm rather pleased with the turnout, I must say ^^ It worked out fairly nicely, methinks.

I think I did the base layer stroke by stroke, but each layer on top of that was more of darkening the areas that needed to be in shadow...it's sort of a feel thing

Practice?! This seems to prove otherwise... it's very nice. I love the fibers on the wing feathers. Little details like that always make me squeal!
