You captured the emotion perfectly!! I like the shading as well, the use of the gold gives him a more toned and luminescent look. There is a little too much wrinkles in the pelt, making him look more rubbery than furry. the light off the robotic wings is very nice, but try applying that to his gold rimmed goggles. THey look made out of cloth entirely, though i assume they are made of leather, which shines, and metal, which also shines. the detail on the hair is something else!! It is absolutely AMAZING. THe eyes are also well done, looking full of life and glassy. THe backdrop really sets the mood and has beautiful colors!
Overall, you understand the concepts of color and body features, just relax on the wrinkles and think about inanimate objects and how they relate to light(the glass in the goggles is nice, but if his scenery is really that fiery, it would reflect the red. that would also add to the tone and it would look very cool. )

I still love this piece. It truly captured how I felt when I asked for it and even though I am in a better mood right now, I am still enamored by the way you drew him. I can feel the raw emotion in him. Very beautiful piece!!! Thanks again for the awesome work!
