Everyone, I'd like to introduce you to Diāo! Diāo, from what I looked up in Google translator so please bear with me if it's wrong, is one of the many Chinese translations for the words 'Tricky', 'Sly', 'Artful', and 'Wicked', which I thought fit this cutie's look. That, and he can be a little bit of a sly trickster if he wants to be, but in the nice way. Like, a cream pie to the face, a party popper when someone walks around a corner, slamming a book closed to make someone jump, just the kinds of pranks that won't hurt people~

Diāo is a male L øki, specifically their 'base' form. His story is connected to my other Løki, Noapte , because, he's going to be Noapte's friend! It says on their information that Løki are very friendly, social creatures, so I wanted Noapte to have a friend of his own kind for when Abyssinian is away or busy so the poor guy wouldn't be lonely. That and I wanted a friend for Volturnus, my friend Firestar-Kelman 's Oc, who is the adopted son to Abyssinian and Volturnus's cat, Frost . Diāo still loves his 'Dad' Abyssinian, but if he had to pick between Abyssinian and Volturnus, Diāo would most likely be on the ice prince's lap for snuggles along with his 'sister' Frost~ I'll be making a bio sheet for Diāo soon~!

Diāo is a member of the Forest Clan of the Løkis.
They are "enthusiastic, friendly, open minded, happy, calm" as TaNa-Jo described them, and are the MAJOR allies to the Sky Clan, the Clan that Noapte is a member of. Though he has wings, he can't actually fly with them, so he didn't quite meet the requirements to be one of the Sky Clan who lives in the clouds. He can however use his wings to give him a boost of speed when running, to help him jump higher, and to glide from heights or on air currents. But, they're too small for flying. Which, he doesn't mind, because he can climb onto Noapte's back or have Abyssinian carry him around~

His powers, like Noapte's, are "influenced by the creator (TaNa-Jo ) or the owner" as Tara put it. So, like Noapte, Diāo has 3 special abilities though his first two are much different from Noapte's. His first power is that of plant growing. He can't grow a plant out of nowhere, he needs a seed to start the process, but he can increase the speed that a plant can grow. Because the Forest Clan are great healers, using oinments and special healing herbs to help with any injuries, I can see Diāo being a really good gardener and using his talents to help Noapte or Abyssinian if either of them are feeling under the weather.

His second power, is that of slight telekinesis. He can lift up small items, as long as they're lighter than 15 pounds, so it works really well for helping with his herbs and gardening. He does have the anthro form that all Løki have, but he doesn't use it very often.

Finally, like Noapte, he can change his size as well. His 'smaller' size a bit larger than Noapte's smaller size, about 20 in. tall/52.5 in. long compared to Noapte's 16 in. tall/48.5 in. because he's younger and doesn't have as fine tuned control of his new abilities like Noapte does. His typical size is 3 ft. tall/6.5 ft long, so him getting smaller though is a nice perk for Abyssinian and Volturnus, just like with Noapte. Well, for Noapte it was a must because he's pretty big already! Most of Diāo's length is in that tail, but don't be fooled. Even though it looks really fluffy, it is VERY strong and muscular under all that fluff. He can, and will, break bones with it if needed just like Noapte can.

Like with Noapte, the white 'mask' on Diāo's face is his SKULL! It can't be taken off and since it is their actual skull, it feels like bone! But he can open his mouth~ His tongue is like a bat's tongue and Diāo is seen quite often sticking his tongue out at Noapte when the other Løki's back is turned before quickly pulling it back into his mouth and looking away when Noapte looks at him. He's like a mischievous little brother to Noapte and a VERY protective big brother to Frost~

His special item, the star around his neck, CANNOT be taken off of him or he WILL DIE! As such, he will attack and even possibly kill people who try to take it away! He gets defensive and nervous when people even go near it and he tends to lay down with his paws circled around it and his head over it to defend it, but he trusts Noapte with touching it and Abyssinian with touching or cleaning it since they know how important it is to him.
