Just a little something I thought of today while studying and I really wanted to get it out. Also adds a bit more to Starla's backstory and why she is the way she is.

Starla wanted to be a lot like her Papa, Akumu. A LOT. This often included going out on her own little adventures before she was ready.

Worried about her and her sometimes brash behavior, Akumu takes Starla to the Great Fairy of Courage, Emerald. Emerald was able to tell Starla needed more than just her word alone, so she told Akumu to bring the deku child to the wisest person she knew, being the Fairy of Wisdom, Sapphire. Akumu brought Starla to Sapphire and the Great Fairy of Wisdom could tell that Starla, though not ready yet in Akumu's eyes, needed to be prepared. She told Starla that she should still be a child, but if the little deku was still determined to help she could become a hero of wisdom. Starla was ecstatic and agreed.

Though not entirely happy about the decision because he wasn't ready for Starla to be put in dangerous situations, Akumu agrees on the condition to his 'daughter' that she tells him about ANY mission she needed to do so he could go with her and help. She's only 10 after all.
