Description
Caden Gates was a Jedi Master who during the Clone Wars served as a General of the GAR.
He served as General of the Aron Battalion, leading that battalion's forces alongside Battalion Commander Aron and Major Skyler.
Gates had a strong relationship of trust and respect with Commander Aron, the two were very identical in their way of being, thinking and acting. Like Aron, Gates was a serious and rigid person, known for his great wisdom and for being a great master war strategist. He was a fierce duelist known for being a master of Form V. Like Aron, Gates placed great value on the lives of the men who served under his command, saving the life of a trooper whenever he had the opportunity. Two of the few differences in the way of being between Gates and Aron were that Gates was not so emotional nor so violent during combat, unlike Aron who could be very emotional and who was incredibly violent and fierce during battles.
Caden Gate was greatly respected and adored within the Aron Battalion, but not all this respect and adoration saved him from the terrible fate he suffered during Order 66. The Aron Battalion was in full battle when Aron and his men received order 66. Gates would be killed in the back by Aron and four other troopers, not even giving Gates time to understand who attacked him and what was happening at that precise moment.
