hmmm this is not entirely true, every single character in the tekken universe understands eachother just fine, i mean YEAH that would make sense but not in tekken, sergei is just a reserved person in the end and is maybe annoyed by alisa idk, or just doesnt care about her and just wants to do his job

hah that's funny, what would also be hilarious is if he had the same problem as that guy from the PotC 3 movie where he had a really REALLY high pitched voice, apparently he speaks, but I haven't heard it yet, so my point still stands, for me at least. and it'd totally ruin his bad ass image if he DID have a really high pitched voice, so, he doesn't speak.

Haha, I played him in the story mode through the entire game, and once Alisa was like 'Did I say something to offend you?' when he didn't respond! xD

He's got a point though. Lars is Swedish but speaks Japanese, Leo is German but speaks English, and I was expecting Miguel to speak Spanish, but noooo he speaks English too! The ones who need dialects are the Kings! Probably the reason why Alisa speaks Japanese is that Dr. Bosconovich speaks Japanese too. XP

Well if theory it COULD be that they all understand English and Japanese perfectly, but they're just assholes about actually speaking any other language than their own.
