This picture was originally drawn for Suikosource as one of the weekly fanart submissions. I actually felt that the sketch had a scarier expression, and I'm sorry that didn't carry over into the final.Either way, I still really like this picture. Done in Deleter CG Illust.

It's not from an anime, it's from a videogame. Yuber is from the Suikoden series. He shows up a lot in the game Suikoden 3. Good game- the battle system is kinda weird, but the storyline has 3 characters for different perspectives on all of the events.

I honestly don't know who that is, *shot*, but I really like the picture! Then again, I've always had this thing for insanity. Even if it just looks insane. Yeah...I'll leave now.

Ah, Yuber. I hope this got featured at Suikosource, because it's better the stuff I usually see there. His facial expression in this picture really captures his insanity...you could do a Luca Blight picture with that same expression. The coloring, composition, and the actual drawing itself...it's really remarkable.
Oh, and what exactly is Deleter CG Illust? I've never heard of it before...

Actually, it was one of the weekly Suikosource fanarts a..few months ago, I think ~_- It still shows up on the top banner sometimes, too XD XD I dunno when my next turn is... Hmm, who should I draw?
Deleter CG Illust is basically the retail version of OpenCanvas-- made by the same company, with the same features.

I think it would be really nice to draw the Saint Loa Knights...Melville, Alanis, and Elliot. You don't see fanart of them too often, and I thought they were so cute in the game. I've been wanting to do a picture of them for a long time myself, actually. Or even Ted...he looks nice in Suikoden IV...

Great expression and coloring! By the way, how is Deleter CG Illust to use from your experience with it? I've heard both good and bad things about it.

Well, it has its good and bad points! I really only use it when I'm going for a simple, easy japanese-style illustration. It's not too great for detailed lineart and coloring, but if you're not going for something huge and detailed, it's a simple and wonderful program.
The fact that it's geared towards specifically that sort of illustration makes it a good buy for someone who does that kind of illustration. There aren't too many tools, but that makes the loading time faster as well, so I tend to open it up if I just need some quick lineart and/or splash colors.
I feel that it's a good tool for people who like manga-style illustration, and I'm glad I have it, but then again I use Painter, Photoshop, CG Illust and now Comic Studio Pro, so having a variety is good for me, too.
