Hey guys, well this is a new illustration iΒ΄ve just finished yesterday. i'm happy for that (: (yei)it was made with the mesh tool in illustrator CS5, however i didn't use it in the hair, eyelashes and eyebrows, as u can see.
i don't know how much time this illustration took to be finished but i'm sure it wasn't less than 8 hours, especially 'cause the blending of colours between layer and layer was especially hard to get. (like nose-face, or mouth-face, if u know what i mean)
anyway i hope u like it, and any advice, comment, suggestion is well received.
PS: don't use it without my permission, please.

firstly, the skin and face are simply amazing, however, unlike frankwyt81, I don't like the hair-to-face difference, that is just my opinion though
but the face is simply beautiful!

first i thought on doing it all with mesh but it was a work for my institute and i didn't have more time to do it with mesh, because it takes a lot of time u know.
But i personally thought it wouldn't look bad with the mix either so i did it.

First off, I also create vectors using the gradient mesh tool and I have a problem creating hair. The mix of your realistic skin and cartoony hair, it works for me. I like what you did here. Skin is supposed to be smooth and soft. Good job.

yep it's the efect of the mesh tool, u always get a work really soft and with no texture. u can add some with photoshop but i rather not to.
