This is racist. Not all Orcs are bad and evil. Have you ever met an Orc? Don't be so ignorant. Stop listening to Elven propaganda and Gondor's revisionist history. Sauron (may Morgoth bless his soul) taught peace and love, it's just his words were misunderstood and twisted by a tiny minority.

I'm just a liberal living in the Middle Earth. I'm promoting multiculturalism.

This is great!Β
I was totally shocked by the scene in BotFA, when he ACTUALLY ran out of arrows! I was like, but Legolas never runs out of arrows! Haha!
I love the coloring in this picture, by the way. And the sunglasses.

Very true. The books are more realistic. I used to make fun of the fact that he never runs out of arrows in the movies, and then he DID!

But he's not very remarkable in the books. His character in the books is largely forgettable.

True. He's not quite the super-human elvish warrior/pretty boy type.

Tolkien said in the book that he is the Elvenking's son. Obviously that makes him a prince, but why does none of the other characters mention that fact?

I've often wondered that, too. When I was in high school my friends and I made a movie that was a parody of LotR, and we portrayed Legolas as a spoiled prince character, who often began his lines with, "Well, I AM an elven prince, you know. . ."

I think I'm gonna make a new meme: "Legolas is actually a prince - Says no Tolkien legendarium character ever"

Something I noticed in the movies...the elves never seemed to run out of arrows. Perpetually-refilling quivers...or Hammer Space?

Β I'm not sure its possible to have too few Orcs unless you're on the shadowy side of morality in Middle Earth β¦Β Β
