Also, with someone like Hades on your side, death isn't as much of an obstacle. 
Syndrome belongs to Disney/Pixar and Brad Bird (and Jason Lee) while Hades belongs to Disney and James Woods. ^^
And for those who don't get the joke, this is a Synlet reference. As in SyndromeXViolet. You have been warned.

I think he's getting sick of the advice, based on his expression. XD
Which is BRILLIANT, by the way. I love how you're able to portray his frustrated, bored, "are you serious" mood with the particular nuances about his face, like the half-lidded eyes with the semi-furrowed brows. 8D And Hades looks VERY Hades in this picture, especially his bony hands and really amusingly weird chin. XD

XD EXACTLY! It just means, however, that in the next one I can progress from dismayed to disgusted and on to irate. >:3 I'm just not sure which peer to include for that one. ^^ But I almost want it to be someone giving a suggestion, and him grabbing Violet around the waist and stomping off, saying, "enough with all the crap advice! I'll romance her my own way!" XD Or something similar.
And thank you! Syndrome is hard to work with when it comes to delicate expressions--it's usually just extremes in either direction. So I'm glad that you noticed the work that I put into making him...I dunno, human? And Thanks for the compliment on Hades! He's always such fun to draw. ^^

Me or Hades? Because in watching the movie itself, there's so many Death puns that it's surprising we're not buried under them all...six feet under.
