Description
Trivia: Of all of Satan's right-hand men, Stuart lasted the least amount of time. His soul was weak, and his body and mind quickly distorted in a feeble attempt to ward off insanity.Stuart's shortcomings present no problem in his new career: eating things.
This is my first submission to a ConceptArt.org contest. This was for Creature of the Week #66: Hellish Beast. I'm not terribly fond of the design, but it fits the description, and I'm pleased with my technique so far. I intend to continue participating in Creature of the Week and/or Character of the Week, as I need the practice.

My art software situation is kinda sad. I love Photoshop, but I don't own a copy and I'm not pirating it. Gimpshop is pretty neat, and free, but it's too slow on my computer for fine brush strokes. So lately I have been using Seashore almost exclusively. Seashore supports many of the layer features of Photoshop, which is a must for me, but it doesn't have many other bells and whistles. At least I have a good WACOM Intuos tablet.
