Since quite a few people have asked, I tought I should add that this is a self-portrait.

Pretty cool. I like how the eyes seem a part of the mask, as one sees no space between it and the face. Also the colours are beautiful, i like how the lips are connected to the mask through the red color, and then the pure white of the face contrasts with it. I really enjoy the concept of the mask, being what it is ( a disguise), seems to be a part of the person behind it. Overall, really nice work

bloody good for a self portrait, me thinks. I also think the cropping is just perfectly imperfect (if that can be) giving a slightly disconcerting effect.

Very cool. Nishomay mentioned the eyes. There's a really sweet glow going on there, and though it's a contrast with the red mask, it's very soft. (the glow)
We love masks in our house.

That is a cool mask, I think it gives you almost avian traits, strangely enough. Are you serious that that is your natural skin color? Astonishing. Excellent contrast. I like how the one eye is partially hidden behind the mask, makes you look mysterious. Brilliant photo!

Thank you very much! I didn't put any makeup or do any photoshop to make my skin whiter, but the lighting and the contrst with the red mask makes it seem much paler than it actually is.

The red mascarade mask really draws the view into the eys, and theres emotion there...the kind of "back off, i'm dangerous" in a femme fatale kinda way....or that could just be me
