I have used a similar mask before and it is not easy getting the details to work in the feathers. I love the "china doll" skin tone here and the eyes almost pierce out from behind the mask. Lovely photograph.

You have great competing and complimentary colors at work here, Christine -- the red from your lips to the mask's feathers, as well as the striking colors of your eyes (wow!) to the same red of the surrounding plume! I feel like, thought the mask accents the feeling you're unapproachable, looking past that into those pools of your blue eyes, I might dare step forward... just a little bit anyway.
