Royal siblings having a happy ending-
yesssss i know i post a lot of hollow knight, but inspiration is inspiration and tbh, i think that's one of my best pieces yet! sooooo i'm not going to complain-
Ghost and Hornet patching up Holllow before heading to the abyss and patching up the siblings...lots of patching up to do.

More headcanons about the happy ending au i had talked about when I posted Cater (Hollow Knight spoilers ahead be careful):
-Ghost is technically THE ruler of Hallownest, since they have the King's brand; but they rule with both Hornet and Hollow since they're both, like all Siblings, technically legitimate heirs to the throne.
-Hornet is also the next heir in line for Deepnest but she has a lot of things to deal with so she probably won't rule it directly like Herrah did. There's a mention of a sire in game who might have helped rule Deepnest, so i'm looking into that for another oc for the AU.
-Every repaired vessel eventually develops emotions and voices (if they didn't have those already), though Ghost and Hollow are a lot slower because they're more hollow.
-They're all kind of dreading the moment they'll have to talk to the White Lady- Ogrim will most likely go back to keep her company so she'll probably be up to date with what's happening in Hallownest, but I think there'd be a bit of tension between her and the Vessels.
-I'd imagine that some characters who were ready to and accepted their deaths did die in this AU, like Cloth and Quirrel. But I'll sometime showcase variants where they kept living bc i still love them and want to draw them.
-Before leaving Hallownest, Bretta stumbled into Nailmaster Mato's place in the Howling Cliffs and warned her that leaving the kingdom with no combat experience was probably like a bad idea, and taught her the basics of fighting, and eventually the Cyclone Slash. After that, Bretta took a trip to the other Nailmasters, obtained some masks to protect her mind outside of Hallownest and went on her merry way to find true love. Hey, maybe she found Farloom at some point. Anyway, with time, she becomes a very talented fighter and rescues lots of maidens herself. Maybe she her love this way, and settles down to sell maps. Maybe she comes back to Hallownest. In the variant where Cloth lives, I'd imagine they'd train and adventure together sometimes.
-elderbug is happy and has his own little garden of delicate flowers. Maybe an accident waiting to happen seeing their influence on Void beings like the Vessels, but hey, Ghost managed to carry lots of these around with no problem, so I'd guess as long as they don't interact with Shades or the Shadelord, everything will be fine.
-Hallownest's grubberfly population is abundant
-ghost has baby voice
