Description
The heat was unbearable inside the vehicle. It must have been close to 90 degrees ( 32 Celsius ), it made me hate to think what it was like outside. We had to shut down the air conditioning unit to conserve energy due to the fact that we were on our 6th day past when we were to leave. Just an hour ago we were running hard across the desert, pushing the hydrogen turbine engine into the red. We had to do it, even though we were overheating and probably damaging some vital components. We had to do it because we were being hunted. We still do not know what was hunting us down but whatever it was, it is capable of laying waste to medium sized military outposts, leaving no signs of life behind. The last outpost we came across was so completely devastated that it sent a cold spike through my spine and chilled me to the bone despite the heat inside the vehicle. We thought that we were dead meat when things started to explode all around us, that is when we blasted our way out of there onto the desert wasteland.
Our team is highly trained and only the best get to take on recon missions of this type. The type of mission with a rather large amount of unknown factors is what we were the best at. But this unknown had shaken the whole team, even the commander, especially when we saw our dropship that was going to get us off this giant sandbox get blown out of the sky. One minute we were making jokes and planning our down time back at base, the next we are taking fire all around us. We high tailed it out of there and have been running ever since.
We finally made it to a mining facility, which is eerily vacant. The only sounds that could be heard were the ticking of heated vehicle armor and the occasional obscenity coming from the engine compartment where the mechanic was trying to hold this beast together. I was checking on the ammo, which was extremely low when the ATVβs sensors flashed on the console.

I am working on a game-mod, where the polycount doesn't matter. I would really like to see, how one your models turn out in-game.

So what kind of game mod are you working on? It would be cool to work on something for it.

This is awesome, ever thought of using your great 3D models for a computer game? You have enough different vehicles to fill entire factions.

Thank you very much. These models have pretty high poly counts so they might have to be worked a bit. But I love to design various machines. I have more it is just I have been off of my 3d stuff for a bit. I want to start up again here soon!

I use a 3D program called Lightwave. I like it quite a bit. I find it very intuitive for many things. I have used 3Dstudio a couple of times and will probably do some work with it here in the near future.

I really like it myself. I have an older version of Lightwave and some of the more difficult aspects of 3D, at least for me, like rigging characters, has been streamlined and modified so that it is easier, so I am told.
