What not to do in a superhero game/movie/cartoon? Advertise a popular villain quite prominently, even dedicating an entire CGI trailer, than make him the second boss battle, and remove him from the story entirely.

Much better than in Arkham Knight where we fought against Deathstroke in a tank, which was also copied from the Arkham Knight Cloudburst boss fight; he also got KOed in one hit.
Origins was a far superior representation of Slade.
