Description
So I think I'm done lol I spent forever trying to get this right O~O and I think I did okay, I mean, i chose my worst subjects lol Plants and water XD But I like the overall outcome and I LOVE that snake X3For the werewolf contest being held by for
Original idea sprung from I pic of a wolfie chasing down some salmon in the yukon C: At first there was a fish in his mouth but then I figured he wouldnt' have a reason to be lookin in the water if he'd already caught the fish XD Also, no, I have no legitamate reason why there is a werewolf in the rainforest; I'd say as a human he enjoys fishing (HAHA norly) and sweltering heat lol

I really love this. The detail with the fur (and everything else, for that matter) is absolutely wonderful.
I especially like the touch of the wet fur on the forearm.
Great work and good luck!

I love that snake too :3 I like the water, makes me want to jump in. The wolf looks so interested in that snake. Iβm sure heβs wondering how it feels to have no legs XD I think the back leg paw looks cute.
Splendid job as usual!!

If werewolves can adapt themselves to any part of the Earth, then why not to the rainforests? There are still parts which are uncompletely explored, where they can thrive at ease. For example, tigers can spend a long time cooling themselves in water bodies during sultry days. By the way, this time I was able to open your other page ( and I wish to take a dive with him ...) and to observe his extreme satisfaction. 'Life can be beautiful' he seems to muse.

If my old mind remembers, Mowli's parents were wolves, they raised him in India's jungle (I read Kipling while learning English ... eons ago). Till your next masterpiece, fare well.

Why is all your stuff so hugely amazing? seriously, from the werewolf, to the foliage it's awesome. I don't get how plants are a weak point of yours, they look great in this piece.

The lighting, coloring, and the detail are all beautifully dine; Although, because of the reflection's position it shouldn't show the face but rather the underside of the head and neck as he isn't looking into the water there, but that is really picky, and as it isn't the main focus of the image it's fine. Over all you've made an excellent piece of work.
If you really want to justify him being in a rainforest you could just say he is in a tropical biosphere. You really don't need to justify his location though, theoretically werewolves would be just about everywhere humans are or were.

thanks C:> and yeah, that reflection I thought about for only about two minutes before messing with it D: I wanted to find ref but there isn't any O~O I had my own reference but non of it was near water which was a pity D:>

Welcome, you could have skipped the reflection altogether, as it is a very shady picture, and the water is so dark you really wouldn't have that much a a reflection if any at all.

I based the reflection on the hazy memories i have of a theme park pond I'd been looking at. I at was pretty close to this, being all murky and gross, and there was a pretty decent reflection from everything, but I skimped on the leafy reflection to show depth in the water D: if that's what it looks like at all lol

WolfKerl In reply to Shapooda [2010-08-21 21:01:43 +0000 UTC]
I meant there wouldn't be much of a reflection because the water is in the shade and therefore not enough light bouncing around to make a mirror effect. Again, still a great picture and one of my favorites.
