Going back to this to say it's still probably my favorite still piece... EVER. I love sad. In moderate doses... Augh, starring at it too long! But yes, I love how it's both tragic, but not merely sad, because of they way they're dying together it... it... it's just so gorgeous. It's that kind of 'bittersweet goodbye' rather than a 'tragic death,' I like the 'tragic death' but the 'bittersweet goodbye' is even better, that feeling of closure... I think that finalizes my decision to bring a character back from the dead to die again by her husband's side, a similar scene I was playing with... now I remember all the more how touching a dying together scene can be. Maybe I should turn off the sad Tales music now...
