I made this to try out a more sketchy style. I do like how i turned out so I might use it again.

The bird here is a bird I made for my world building project, called a Sunset Racear. Like other birds from my world, they are more raptor-like in appearance, with long tails, clawed wings, feet equipped with a large front-facing claw (size depends on specie) and a ragged beak equipped with teeth. This one here would be the equivalent to a Bird of Paradise, with extremely colorful feathers and complex mating dances since they don't have any predators. While their overside is colorful and vibrant, their underside is actually a bland brownish gray, which caused many to first consider it two different birds until they realized it were the same. Unlike our Birds of Paradise, the Sunset Racear and its cousins have both male and female brightly colored. The female simply doesn't have as much or no decorative feathers and less markings.
Unlike the others birds have drawn so far, these aren't for hunting and are simply an important symbol, a bit like the Kiwi bird or Flamingo. Not really useful, but a pretty nice symbol to put on things.
