Yeahhhh. Lots of unfinished art lately. I'm sick and I don't have time to finish things right now. orz
This is my character Ixen. They're a Lumidaesus, which is a species that has highly acidic digestive juices to aid their polyphagous diets and said digestive juices actually cause their abdominal and chest cavity to glow. It lights them up from the inside out, and you can see te silhouette of their central skeleton (and some of their organs) through their skin.
Even though a glow is a sign of health for Lumidaesi and indicate that their digestive system is functioning well, Ixen is very self-conscious about their glow. They were raised by a species that didn't glow, and so they see it as an undesirable trait. They also hate their tiny feet and wear clunky shoes (that often cause them to trip) for the sake of looking a little more "normal". They can't really conceal their horns, ears, or freckles, but they occasionally dye their hair black to try and cover up the odd color.
