Description
UF4Just a little prettiness for the day...
I learn from each image. This image I learned how to get a striped gradient on an Orbit Trap.

Thank you for your kind comments, and no...I will never tell you where my secret waterfall is, I like the solitude, lol...
As for the vine, I absolutely LOVE exploring DoodadsII...using the explore tool with the Flavor Multiplier and the New Shaping parameters, plus all the Functions settings....one could poke around for years and not see it all. The vines are a result of that exploration.

That, to me, is a good attitude toward UF...no rush...I want to just give it a few years.

It's gonna take me years to just catch up to the level of fractaling I see here. Spent too much time with FE and others. Should have used UF waaaaay long time ago!

Holy cow! Did you do all that yourself? *Has no idea what fractal art is* I think it's really pretty! Great job on it!

ha ha...well...me and my little fractal program...
A fractal is basically a self repeating pattern, with the pattern repeating across scales. In other words, if you zoom in on a fractal pattern, you see the same pattern repeated within itself, snaller and smaller and smaller. Funky, no?
Fractal geometry is the school of mathematics that developed and applies algorithms to model fractals. And I use a "fractal generator" program that uses the fractal geometric algorithm's to make some very interesting patterns and shapes. I then apply color, texture, lighting and compositional principles to make the fractals pretty...hopefully, lol.
I bet this was certainly more that you wanted to know, lol.

No, that's great that you took the time to explain all that to me! Thank you very much! That's really interesting- I doubt if I could ever understand something like that (as in, understand it enough to actually try it), but it's great that there are people out there who can! ^_^
