Originally designed by Clan Blood Spirit as a refit of their Crusaders left in their Brian Cache's the Crusader II would evolve into a fast and aggressive brawler instead of the generalist trooper role the Crusader often carried out. Copied and fielded by other Clans the Crusader IIC whilst undergunned for its size thanks to the mass of its engine, was still a threat to Inner Sphere 'Mechs and vehicles, especially when loaded with Inferno rounds for its SRM carriers.
