About the series:
This is a painting series I did for my finals. The theme wasn't specified, so I went with elemental dragons... kind of lame, but I didn't want to go with anything fancy or hard to understand, you try explaining a super complex fantasy theme to non-artistic teachers near retirement.

The set has 4 pictures with characters that I made, all of which were designed to be different from the typical elemental dragons you get on Google Images by incorporating different animal-ish themes and unusual color schemes. They have no name, no story... they only exist to be pretty Not sure if I'm gonna do anything with them, probably not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Originally there were supposed to be 5 pictures, with the final one being a group shot, but I was short on time so no group shot, rip

I also considered recording the process of them all and later put them into speedpaints... but I didn't want to put more work on myself before finals. A shame, I would love to know how long they took to make and timelapses are always nice. Ah well.

About this specific piece:
This is the first one that I made aaaaaalll the way back in February, and it remains my favourite of the set. All the rest have something that bother me, this one doesn't. Plus I'm a sucker for water creatures

This one is a mixture of the Lochnes monster, orca and those gorgeous coral fish (not any specific fish in particular)... all of which should be obvious.
