History: Back during the War for Cybertron, Jazz was a the first Lieutenant to Optimus Prime, and loyal best friend to the noble knight Slingshot. He was ordered by Optimus to assist in training Slingshot and fight alongside him on missions. The two grew very close over time, developing a unique dynamic. Slingshot was a quiet autobot that was rather by the books, while Jazz was outgoing and liked to bend the rules at times. Jazz helped Sling get out his comfort zone on occasion, and encourage him to make more of his life. The two would embark on many memorable journeys for the years to come.

Sadly, the day would come when Slingshot would be lost forever after his Noble sacrifice to save Stormester Prime.
Jazz took the loss of his best friend hard, and chose to explore the galaxy on his own once the war was over. Jazz was afraid to befriend anyone else after losing Slingshot, and now Optimus Prime after his recent passing. He had shut himself off from others and needed to find peace for himself.

His current whereabouts are unknown, though it's likely he's still alive.
