On the 16th of February 1991, BBC Alba, along with BBC1 and BBC2 gained new looks and new presentation styles, with them gaining the BBC corporate logo of the time. While BBC1 and BBC2 all gained completely new symbols and idents, BBC Alba kept the COW globe (now modified to have the 1991-1997 BBC Alba logo), and now had a presentation style similar to that of the presentation style of the then-upcoming BBC World Service Television (well, it's 1991-1994 presentation style anyways) that would launch on the 11th of March 1991.Also from this point up until 2008, BBC Alba would now use the globe ident for both English and Gaelic language programmes.
