Description
The bottom one was the first pull, one eye still remains in place to keep it separate from the others. Each has an owner and none are for sale.Left to right:
1. Bolt
2. (small upper) Elizabeth
3. wolf
4. Soundcheck
To be cast soon:
Greyscale
Each demonstrates free form casting (a.k.a. casting without a mothermold) The silicone mold is thick enough to hold the proper shape if given a solid base to form around (such as a head form). The way I sculpted this base with the heavier cheeks, I made it possible to "stretch" the mold to fit larger heads and look just as good. Bolt fits a 23 with room to spare, Soundcheck to fit a 21. A slimmer older base was requested. Second time this particular mold has been used as it's predecessor committed suicide by splitting down both sides, yielding its 3rd and final base (of which I sculpted upon to acquire this one). Each base has been pulled from the mold, very minor trimming has been done thus far.

I really need a tip with my resin. Whenever I try and make a resin fursuit head, it seeps down into the muzzle and then all I have is a useless block of resin. My resin doesn't get hot at all. I don't know if I'm using it wrong, or I don't have the right resin. I still have 2 other questions ^w^;; I want to put leds into my fursuit head, but I don't know where the wires go ^w^; Could you help? Oh, and do the blanks go onto balaclavas or something? ^w^;; I can't afford to buy a resin blank, so I have to make it myself ^w^;; I'll be ordering Smooth-Cast resin off ebay ^w^ Is that the right one?

Be sure to do two things before casting:
Shake each individual bottle well
mix 50/50 exatly! And stir until it starts to warm in your hand. Don't set the mask down while it's curing or else it will pool in the nose.
If it's for eyes, usually atop the head. As for balaclavas, not really. Smooth-on's Smooth-cast is what you want yes.

Is there anything that holds the cast to your head like elastic? ^w^;; Sorry about all the questions =n=; I'm kind of an idiot xD Do Do I cover the top for the sillicone mold? Okay, last question (I hope =n= ) Is there any springs or something that needs to be added to the hinges? Thank you so, so much for you help~! Sorry if I'm being annoying

Thank you so much ^w^;; But is elastic used to hold it up to your face or?...and is there a spring in the jaw or anything? I know about the hinges and everything, but I've seen Monoyasha's and she uses a spring. Are the springs REALLY necessary?

Elastic is used yes and springs are not required. Springs are used to help close it, but it's not required.
