Where did you fail? In creating a distinct enough shape to get the snug fit?

Is the design on this meant to resemble a Dragon?

At first I thought it was an alligator, until I saw that it had ears.

hint. Sandwichbag weapon, dampen holster & use ne of those vacuum seal food rigs with a heat seal.
Or in my case a shop-vac and twist ties....
The vacuum pulls the moisture from the leather quicker too. Bonus!

I may have asked the question before but for the life of me I can't remember the answer.
What doi you use to do the "scrollwork" on your leather? If you're using a swivel knife, you've got a lot of skill with it. If you're not using one, I want to know what you're using.
The carving on this piece is just great. It's fine yet very very clear.

Then the best thing to do is to show us. Give us a picture of the tools you use. I always love to see custom tools. It's quite an art to product working tools.

That is so wicked, I love how it molds itself to the gun. Very nice. Lucky girl.
