Fantastic armor! You do custom designs? Do you think you would be able to show a WIP picture to us?

THAT is amazing. I love the detail and color. And I'm a big fan of the Celtic-style knot work.

WAS THAT MY LEFT BICEP?
Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful. Love the dragons and the sword. So which took longer, carving out all those weaves and knots.... or planning them beforehand?
And what do the runes say? Gwah, there's just so much in here, so many details....
Very cool.

My first thought on seeing this was that it was reminiscent of the armor seen in the film version of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. But then when I saw it in fullview, I noticed the runic inscription and the dragon designs, which made me think of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. The shield is very eye-catching, but what really got my attention was the shoulders. I love the pieces that connect them to the chestplate, and that trinity-weave design on the shoulder plates is really a nice detail. Congrats on the DD.

Very nice, obviously Norse from the design and runes. And is that your family's actual coat of arms, or did you make that one up?

Okay, but did you choose the Norse style because of any sort of Scandanavian heritage?
