This will be the first image that I have put up where there is close to zero editing. The only thing I did to this picture was lower the contrast. Everything else is due to the camera settings. Let me know what you think.Related content

The first word I have when looking at the photograph is 'overexposed', can you find yourself in that?

That's the thing, it isn't "exactly" over exposed, it is just a bit brighter on one side of the picture than the rest of my pictures. But I understand where you are coming from.
With this picture, I really wanted a picture of the waterfall and the sun was so bright that day that there was nothing I could do except not take the picture. And that was not gonna happen, because I'm stubborn.
But hey, I appreciate the comment. I would rather people leave comments than add it to their favorites, than add it to their favorites and say nothing about it.

Haha, I know the feeling. Even though weather circumstances really predict that taking a photograph would be hard, I would also still take the picture and make the best of it, no matter what.
Perhaps, if I may suggest, you could've tried at another time where the sun moved out of the picture or wasn't that strong. Of course, I don't know wether this area is close to where you live and if it's easy or not to visit at such times of day.
Another option could've been an HDR or graduated ND filter, but the first option may end up with very unrealistic results.
It's not a bad picture, but it's hard to look beyond the overexposed part as it dominates the rest of the photograph.
